![]() Absolutely nothing happens and FancyZones doesn't enable me to snap windowsįancyZones to work and save layouts. ![]() I exit out of the FancyZones layout editor.I disable FancyZones on my landscape monitor and enable "Rows" on my portrait monitor and edit so that there is 2 rows and 0 pixels around zones -> Save.I open PowerToys and go to the FancyZones tab.Another thing to note is that I never ran as administrator before (using the "Run as Admin" option in PowerToys) but turning this option on changes nothing. FancyZones, FancyZones Editor Steps to reproduceĪfter updating to 0.45.0 using the auto-update, whenever I restarted my computer the FancyZone layouts would reset, I googled this issue and found that it was a solved thread here before ( #7790), so I navigated to the FancyZones directory and opened one of the settings files to see if I could find the issue by myself, and it seems I had the same problem (monitor GUID is all 0000's) so I uninstalled PowerToys from my system and then deleted the PowerToys folder in %LOCALAPPDATA% and then reinstalled from the GitHub EXE, and after that the layouts reset, and the whole FancyZones functionality is not working (the overlay doesn't appear nor do apps snap into the size), this is happening on both of my monitors, 1x 1920x1080 Landscape and 1x 1080x1920 Portrait monitors, Before the update it was working just fine.
